Chatting with AI isn’t a workflow
- Your AI workflow lives in 14 browser tabs and one person’s head.
- Every CV screen starts from a blank prompt — and ends with different results.
- The prompts that work are buried in someone’s chat history, not your team’s toolkit.
The Calyflow way
Import a workflow. Attach your docs. Run.
-
Import a proven workflow
CV screening, sourcing maps, outreach: built by recruiters, versioned like code.
-
Attach your documents
The workflow knows what it needs (JD, intake notes, CVs) and tells you what’s missing.
-
Run it: same quality every time
Repeatable results your whole team can use, with the run cost visible on every run.
Core principles
Your AI. Your data. Your tools.

How it works
One search, eight workflows
The launch workflows cover a complete search lifecycle, from intake notes to a client-ready submission pack. The same flow you’ll see in the app on day one.
-
Intake-to-JD Builder
intakeTurn messy intake notes from a hiring-manager call into a structured job description plus a list of clarifying questions to send back to the client. The JD it produces feeds every other workflow in the search.
Intake notes → JD + clarifying questions
-
Job Requirement Analysis
intakeTurn raw hiring-manager notes into a complete 18-dimension requirement breakdown: technical stack, seniority, culture fit, compensation, hiring process and more. Every dimension is either extracted or marked "TO ASK", so nothing is missed before sourcing.
Hiring-manager notes → 18-dimension breakdown
-
Candidate ICP Builder
icpTurn the job description into a structured Ideal Candidate Profile with a weighted scoring rubric: must-have, important, and nice-to-have criteria, each with a concrete "how to evaluate" cue. The rubric that drives consistent screening.
Job description → Weighted scoring rubric
-
Sourcing Map from JD
sourcingTurn the job description into a phased sourcing strategy: five search steps from exact-match booleans to creative passive sourcing, plus a full channel checklist tailored to this exact role and market.
Job description → Phased sourcing strategy
-
Job Selling Pitch
sellingTurn the job description into a candidate magnet: a selling-points analysis, a feature-to-benefit reframe, a rewritten job post that leads with what excites candidates, and ready-to-use outreach hooks.
Job description → Candidate-magnet job post
-
Outreach Writer
outreachPaste a candidate profile and get personalized LinkedIn, InMail, and email outreach with A/B variants and a two-step follow-up sequence. Writes in your voice and references concrete details, never flattery or buzzwords.
Candidate profile → Personalized sequences
-
CV Screener
screeningScreen CVs against the job description and get an evidence-based scorecard: fit score, must-haves table with CV quotes as proof, red flags, and five screening-call questions specific to this candidate.
CVs + JD → Evidence-based scorecard
-
Candidate Submission Pack
submissionCombine a CV with its screening report into a polished, client-ready candidate presentation in your tone of voice, ready to send to the hiring manager.
CV + screening report → Client-ready presentation

Calyflow is an open-source recruiting OS that runs AI workflows on your own models, data, and tools.
The code is AGPL-3.0 and inspectable: you can read exactly what happens to every CV and every prompt. You can self-host the whole platform on your own infrastructure. And because your data lives in your systems and your AI runs on your key, there is no hostage-taking: leave any time and take everything with you. Contributions welcome.
FAQ
Real questions, direct answers
What is Calyflow?
Calyflow is an open-source recruiting OS that runs AI workflows on your own models, data, and tools. Instead of chatting with AI in scattered browser tabs, you import a workflow (CV screening, sourcing, outreach), attach your documents, and run it.
Which AI models can I use?
Any major model: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, the OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, or local models. Calyflow is model-agnostic by design, so you can bring your own AI key and switch providers whenever you want.
Where is my candidate data stored?
Your candidate data stays in your own systems: your ATS, CRM, spreadsheets, or databases. Calyflow connects to your data to run workflows but does not own or warehouse it, and you can self-host the entire platform for full control.
Can I self-host Calyflow?
Yes. Calyflow is open source under AGPL-3.0, so you can self-host it on your own infrastructure. Enterprise teams can also have a private deployment on their own Google Cloud project, deployed by us.
Is Calyflow really free?
Yes. Free to start, no credit card, and every new account includes $10 of AI credit. Independent recruiters use Calyflow free forever; agencies and enterprise teams get 30 days free. Beyond the included credit, you pay only your AI provider for the tokens your workflows use, and every run shows its cost.
Is Calyflow GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Calyflow is built by an EU-based team with GDPR as a design constraint: your candidate data stays in your own systems, processing is transparent, and the website uses cookieless analytics with no tracking banner.
Do I need my own API key?
No. Every new account includes $10 of free credit on the built-in Calyflow key, powered by Claude Sonnet 4.6, so you can run workflows right away. When you want full control over the costs, the provider, and the data-processing relationship, bring your own AI key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or a local model endpoint) with no markup and no middleman on your tokens.
Is Calyflow an ATS replacement?
No. Calyflow is the AI workflow layer that works alongside your ATS or CRM. It reads from and writes to the systems you already use, like Recruit CRM, Bullhorn, or Vincere, rather than replacing them.
Stop chatting. Start running workflows.
Free to start. Your own API key. No credit card.
