What it does
The GitHub Sourcer turns a role brief into a candidate shortlist by working through open source: it finds the libraries a target engineer would use, lists the people who contributed to or forked those repos, pivots from their GitHub handle to public contact details, and writes a ranked shortlist back into the project.
Why recruiters use it
- Reach passive engineers by their actual work, not just their job title.
- Get real signal — shipped commits and forks — instead of keyword guesses.
- Hand the whole search, with contacts, back to the recruiter ready to action.
Connect GitHub
Add a GitHub Personal Access Token in Settings → Connectors (a classic token
with public_repo, or a fine-grained read-only token). It's stored encrypted
per workspace and only reads public data.
What you get
A ranked shortlist document — handle, name, the signal that surfaced them, and the best public contact — plus a note on who needs a recruiter login (LinkedIn) to reach.
What you need
- A role brief (job description / intake notes) saved in the project.
- A connected GitHub account.
How to run it
Open a project with a role brief and run. The shortlist is saved to your project files.

Candidate Outreach From Sheet via Email
An outreach agent that reads candidates from the tracker you run in Google Sheets, Excel, or Airtable, writes a short personalized email to each one grounded in the role and your tone of voice, sends them from your own mailbox (Gmail or Outlook), and saves a send log into the project. Pick the data source and the mailbox when you run it.

Candidate Scorecard Rubric
Turn the project's job description into a structured Ideal Candidate Profile with a weighted scoring rubric — must-have (3), important (2) and nice-to-have (1) criteria, each with a concrete "how to evaluate" cue, plus a max-score guide. The rubric that drives consistent candidate screening.
